Sky vista commons is a great place for the price. Unfortunately, some of the apartments are being turned to condominium. Anyway, its really cheap compared to the other apartments around. Its located north of 395 so its quite a drive from downtown Reno however, the area is really quiet and I didn't have much problem with traffic. The roads aren't too bad compared to other apartments wherein the roads are just cracked and filled with pot holes before you even get to your place. I always liked the carport which was always good during the winter season. The area is always well-maintained, clean and snow gets plowed on-time. The area is also well-lit which is always a good thing if you run or walk your pet.

The downside for this apartment is the rooms are pretty small, almost all the furnishings after a year gets messed-up (like the countertop or the faucet detaches easily). The kids in the area sometimes tagged (spray paint) road signs and even one of the tenants motorcycle. Other than that nothing really extreme.
