Beautiful Setting, Thin Walls...

I have lived at these apartments almost ten months now. I am moving shortly into a house of my own and cannot wait to get out of here. The setting is gorgeous, nice mature trees, beautiful pond with ducks, and the grounds are always peaceful. Inside the apartment is a different story. I know when my neighbors are in the shower, I hear everything from the next door neighbors dishwasher to the girl downstairs who blasts crappy pop music at 6:30am while I'm trying to meditate. Needless to say, the atmosphere doesn't make me feel very yogic. I really think that these apartments are better than most, and I feel safe; however, there is a lot of room for improvement. The parking spaces conveniently have your apartment number on them which has made me feel uncomfortable from the very beginning, I hope that someday they will change this, inevitably a stalker situation WILL get out of hand and I can only say that management did not take appropriate precautions to avoid this. Also, management seems to go around when they're bored to hassle residents. I had a situation in which I was trying to sell and old car and they yelled at me and threatened to tow my car (in my own parking space) because it didn't have a license plate, I paid rent for that space, I hardly think it's just to regulate your residents on things that have nothing to do with the complex. Are they going to tell me who I can date too' Also, all windows are single-paned, don't count on heat unless you blast your heater during the winter and don't sleep near the windows. Overall, if you're looking to move into an apartment, this is one of the better ones out there, but in general I HATE apartment living. Good luck!

I had HUGE problems because my apartment # was also my parking space # when I was there 5 years ago! You'd think they would have fixed that by now. Especially since they won't take responsibility for anything that happens.
