Check around first!!!!!

While some of the "ammenities" are comparable, the buildings are over 30 years old and walls are thin. The price per month seems to come from the fact that it's in 89509, not from the quality of the apartments themselves. I have lived here one year and I truly wish I could afford a house. The maintenance is done by people who I seriously question their skills, the appliances are old and if one breaks down, they "swap it" with one from another apartment. Good luck getting anything new. The dishwasher in my apartment has to be from the 80's, and the drawer under the stove is broken. I had to have the refrigerator replaced shortly after I moved in, but again, it was an old one from another apartment. Any repairs that are needed you have to HOUND the management to get done. People who live around me don't have adequate heating/air conditioning.
To top it off, "random" inspections are being done - which in reality are not random at all, but the management tells you that they are. This means someone comes into your apartment during the day and TAKES PICTURES!!!
I wish I had the money to move, but I don't. So I'm stuck here until I do. I strongly suggest checking around all other apartments in the area before signing a lease here.
