This property is so good on many issues buy a few need work. Overall the landscaping is just short of superb. The clubhouse is very fine as are the meeting rooms, fireplace, business center (although it does not attract many users), kitchen, workout room and equipment (use again), indoor mail room, library and video checkout selection (the number of volumes available is quite small), swimming pool and hot tub. There is plenty of grassy areas with picnic tables, childrens play equipment, view (from some places magnificent), basketball and tennis courts are generally kept in good condition. The curb that fronts Summit Trails needs to be painted red for its entire front. The units that have windows facing the street are forced to give up their one view most of the time because all they get is the visage of cars, trucks (most of the time owned by tenants who couldn't care less whether their extra vehicles block the one view fellow tenants have. This is a major drawback. There is a fine resident property manager on weeknights and there is supposed to be a private security officer on weekend nights but this has proven to be a waste of money as the company guards do little or nothing but lock various facilities, walk here and there and become almost invisible the rest of the night.
Overall, the apartments are very nice. Amenities in each unit are certainly above average. The office and maintenance staff are polite, knowledgeable, try to work with tenants on problems, creative and, usually, johnny on the spot. Reccomended!
