For a $1000 apartment, you would expect more.
But alas, thin walls, don't do this and don't do that (no rear bike rack on your vehicle for example), disposals that cannot take a cooked carrot (they say it's normal), windows that cannot be fixed after three attempts (watch out for a freefall).
And then for a $1000 apartment complex, you would expect smarter and nicer people.
Their manager is a joke. It's a mystery how she keeps her job. She never gets to the point, not capable of understanding most of your questions. Once there was a construction and the complex entrance was messed up. When asked what's the best way to get into the complex: 'call the city and figure out yourself'.
Further, unfortunately, 'asking questions', is sometimes equivalent to being rude to her. So watch out when you point out her mistakes, as she'll then be yelling at you, and in no time her assistant will come and threaten you that they'll call a police if you don't leave.
But what can I say, I guess that's what they are and that's how they make money. Even with such clueless managers. gkZ41df9CgXQPfm8K2A7

If management threatens to call the police, I think there's more to this than you asking questions. What are you leaving out?
