My husband and I are young and I was finishing college so we didn't have much money. We were attracted by the free utilities and our apartment was junk. The plumbing leaks, which they charged us for! Also the place is overrun with bugs and noise from partying neighbors. They say there is a neighborhood watch, but my car was broken into, as well as others. The maintenance man and mangager yelled at my husband (who is hispanic) and told him that they were going to evict him. They treat him horribly every time he has to deal with them, but when I go in, they are nice to me. His mother went in to look for some housing and they refused to even help her because "they don't speak Spanish"! That's really funny since she speaks perfect English. My neighbor, who was also hispanic was evicted because the office said that they didn't receive her check, which she had proof of, and they said that she never gave it to them. Interesting coincidence. When I was first applying for the apartment, a tenant came to the office and told me "don't move here!" I wish I had listened.
