Years at this apartment: 2009 - 2009
The good: Nice vaulted ceilings in upper level units. Lots of storage for the size of the apartment. Never really had a problem with management or getting things fixed. Central location.
The bad: can't get a couch (3 place - normal size) in due to the layout. Had rodents and ants even though I was on the third floor. Not very well isolated for noise - can be problematic if you have noisy neighbors. No more locks on the entrance doors: found a vagrant sleeping in the stairwell a few times (unless he was simply kicked out for the night by a disgruntled wife...); had a shady character knock on my door asking for a "Linda", told there was no "Linda", left and then came back knocking again - thank God my boyfriend answered the second time. AC and heating controlled by management - doesn't always start in a way that is congruent with the outside temperature at the time. Although there are controls in the apartment, they are only for "on" or "off". Had to wake up a few times during my sleep to turn the heating off cause it was too hot or the AC off because it was too cold. The carpet in the halls are stinky. The planters in the core of the buildings are not very well kept.
Have to say I lived there about 10 years ago and in comparison, it was "much" better. Although at the time, I had a problem with a close-by neighbor who decided he was getting paranoid about me. Scary...
