Really Not Bad

Granted these apartments are not the most beautiful buildings ever, but for the average student or young adult they are pretty good. I live in a two bedroom, and it is pretty spacious with a good layout, except for the kitchen being a bit small. The bathrooms aren't super nice and you can tell it is a bit dated, but if you keep it clean and aren't snooty about it they are no big deal. I am not sure what the current managers name is, but she is very nice. She knows my name even though I have rarely dealt with her, and when a friend of mine moved in she was very helpful. Maintenance is also pretty good, they respond quickly usually and are very nice people, I am not concerned about them being in my apartment and I have never noticed anything missing etc.
Some of the tenants do seem a bit shady, but they keep to themselves so it really hasn't been a problem. My neighbors sometimes play loud music, but if you ask they turn it down. As far as the location goes, I think it is great. Its just a few minutes from both UNR and TMCC, and has easy freeway access. It being not right in the city helps it stay quiet also I think. Parking isn't usually a problem, there are assigned spots with ample guest parking a very short walk away. The biggest negative I have come across is that the laundry facilities are horrible. They are typically very dirty, sometimes smelly, and just creepy in general. The apartments do have washer dryer hookups though, so if you can get them it solves that problem. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone. Its good cheap living.
