I can't wait to move out!

I moved out here from California right before winter came. People at work told me it didn't snow much in Reno, so imagine my surprise when a carport fell on my 3 month old 2005 truck because the snow was too heavy on the carport. Even more surprising was the fact that no one was in the office and the emergency maintenance was also unavailable. I was never reimbursed my $500 deductible for my truck because of the act of God clause. Also the lights on the grounds near my building as well as the lights in front of my apartment door have gone out twice making it very unsafe for me when I come home late from work(each incident took about a week to be fixed). The apartments also need renovating badly. One of the reasons I moved in last year was because they said they were in the process of beginning renovations. This has yet to happen. The new management is just as snobby as the old one and I hope I have no need to deal with them until it is time for me to move out.

Never judge a person until you have walked in their shoes. Dont all of you understand that the managers have individuals that rank higher than them and they arent able to make certain decisions without the o.k. from these "higherups"? To call the people in the office snobs is only your personal opinion, and trust me if you had to put up with the b.s. they do for one day you would be labled in a negative light as well. So, I hope this little tidbit assists you in your outlook on apartment style living. There are many homes for sale in your area. Perhaps that would be a better situation for you, when your lights burn out or your roof leaks its up to you to get it worked on in a more timely fashion. Then if the work doesnt get completed you will only have yourself to blame. Some people just need someone else to complain about to be happy.
