I lived at the Vintage from Summer 2000 - whilst there were still constructing some of the buildings - to Summer 2002.

The Good: nice views (either of Mt. Rose or the little Lake), the office staff are generally very nice, staff live on-site, they allow dogs

The Bad: they have their fare share of screaming kids and uncontrolled teenagers (ditto for some dogs - although the management clamp down on this pretty quickly), gym is small, no communial social area, parents and kids treat the swimming pool as a toilet, communial trash bins often become full days before they are emptied, next door is a 'down-market' apartment complex, no tennis nor basketball courts, location: there are a lot of hhouseing and office parks being built very near by.

Since I had a totally new apartment I didnt really have any problems with maintenance - but the maintenence guy seemed a nice enough chap.

The office staff are friendly enough (both before and after you sign the lease / move in). However, the manager has reciently changed; I think that the owners are wanting to extract more money from the place.

I lived right by the kiddy play area: apart fromt he occasional day I didnt have a problem with noise. In fact, I felt is was quieter than living overlooking the swimming pool.

When it opened, it was a very nice place (although a bit over priced). However, there have been newer places built since, which are better.

I paid for a garage (and since I lived there before most people moved in, I got a prime location one) which was expensive. I don't believe that there was enough free-for-all parking (close to the apartments) for the number of people wantsing to use it
