This place has been great.

I hate reading long-winded reviews, so I'll just give you a pros/cons list:
---------------------------------------------
Cons:
Biggest con: No room for washer/dryer. Only the laundry rooms on site at $0.75/cycle.
It's not the best neighborhood. Parking on the street led to many cars getting egged during the last parking lot sealing. Occasionally there will be car break ins. There's a low income apartment across the street with some sketchy people living there.
No pets.
The management is cheap - it's the very minimum to get by and nothing more, though Sammy, the maintenance guy, is amazing.
Old apartments leads to bad insulation. Utility bills are fairly high here.
The weight room is an absolute joke, though the sauna is nice.
-------------------------------------------------
Pros:
Fairly cheap rent, especially considering that the square footage is likely more than you'll find anywhere else.
It seems like most of the people here either have children or are elderly, and therefore noise is rarely an issue for us (at least on this side of the properly, I can't speak for the other).
Maintenance has been quick and very efficient to fix any issues we've had.
Two pools, one heated, one not. Both are open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Weight room has a universal weight kit (which is nice), a sauna, and some broken running/cardio equipment (which isn't so nice).
I've *never* had an issue with parking. One assigned spot, plus there's a lot of guest parking on the north and east sides of the property.
Close to a *lot* of shopping. A Kohl's is being built across the street, with a Walmart already due east of us and plenty more around.
Month to Month Rent
-------------------------------------------
I'm sure I'm forgetting some things on both sides, but I've never had an issue after living here for a little over two years and plan on staying for quite a while, or at least until I can find a decently priced house. Everything else is either average or better around here, so do yourself a favor and give this place a look if you're looking for a quiet place to live with a decent amount of room. The caveat being, that if you're not a quiet person/family/whatever, I wouldn't recommend this place because you'll be driven out rather quickly. Hell, I might even drive you out - I live here ;)
