We have been living here for more than a year. It wasn't great when we moved in, but now it is a complete dump. Everything breaks down all the time. Hot water goes out in the winter. Mosquitos. Air conditioning goes out in the summer. In fact, I reported my broken air conditioner three days ago, and it still isn't fixed. The parking lot is coming apart from total lack of maintenance. It now looks like the irrigation system has been shut off and all the grass is dying. The manager is a joke--unresponsive and rude. The property has paint peeling from the walls. Graffiti is cropping up everywhere. The laundry facility is disgusting. I can't wait to get out of this slum. In the mean time, does anyone know a good lawyer' I am considering suing the apartment complex for the unsafe, unsanitary conditions here.

DO NOT RENT HERE! If you do, you will regret it.

Hello! We just moved out of Willowbrook this past week and are so happy to be gone from there! You may want to try Washoe Legal services, their website is: http://www.washoelegalservices.org/ and also Nevada Renters Hotline: http://www.nevadarentershotline.org... Both a wealth of information! Make sure to contact Judith Saum at the Health Department about the mosquito problem, as they have been coming down on Sherry and Willowbrook for some time now due to the horrible mosquito problem... her email is: jsaum@washoecounty.us. I wish you the best of luck! I'd love for the manager and property owners to pay up and out of the nose for the disgusting dump they collect large amounts of money on.

I also am in process of speaking to a lawyer regarding Sherry attempting to get $3000 from me for painting, carpet replacement,etc. She even sent me to a collections dept who told me that quote, "Willowbrook apartments can charge for whatever they want if you dont do a walk through with them." Yeah, I have my lease and where exactly does it say that?!???? By the way, replacing carpet in that dump doesnt cost over 2,000. I work at Home Depot AS A FLOORING SPECIALIST and that crappy carpet they use in there DOES NOT cost that much. Total scam.

If you do sue, let us know! We're completely unhappy with them right now. They've treated us like crap just because we're in our twenties. It has taken weeks to get a tiny thing fixed.
