I've been at WRV for 2 years. This place is horrible. The manager treats everyone like it's a prison. Linda will fine you for anything and everything she thinks she can.
If she likes you you won't get a fine, but if she doesn't you'll get a fine that she pulls off the top of her head. There is no set amount or fine schedule, she just picks a number and says pay it or get out. We've had our heat and water both shut-off by management (in December) because they were doing maintenance. We got the water back that day. We got our heater fixed in March.
Right now there are several students who have proof that management may have been "doctoring" the books. Apparently a manager had been stealing peoples rent, but there has been no restitution made. Instead the say "oh, well, you have to pay us again, and don't forget the late fee"
Linda will walk into your house anytime she wants without ANY notice. Our posessions are constantly disappearing after maintenance has been in our house. Linda has "confiscated" many items from our living room without notice or warning. Make sure you read the lease. She says that it is in the lease that ANYTHING in the living room or kitchen is Wolf Run Property and there for she can take it when she wants because it's hers. It doesn't matter if you bought it. If it's in the living room it's hers.
If you move in here I hope you have the time to fight with your landlord. If you try to complain she just tells you that if you don't like she'll sue you. Great management wouldn't you say'
