Management won't help with problems and certainly won't give you your deposit back. The maintenance guy is very helpful and does a good job, but only if you speak to him directly. I didn't have heat in my apartment for the last month and a half I lived there and was ignored by management. They only gave me 25% of my deposit back and said I owed money for not renewing my lease for the last month - when I produced proof that I had already paid it, they changed their tune and said it was for painting and cleaning (I only lived there for 6 months and cleaned thoroughly when I moved out). They refused to give me a parking spot closer to my apartment even though there were several available. They didn't maintain the laundry facilities and one caught on fire. There have been two gang shootings since I moved out a couple months ago. In short, it is a nightmare, and definitely not worth it!
