SUMMER OF 2005 WE WANTED TO RENT FROM THIS COMPLEX. THIS WAS A LOW INCOME PLACE. WE THOUGHT THAT IT WAS NOT BIG DEAL BECAUSE WE WEREN'T MAKING A WHOLE LOT. THEN WHEN WE DECIDED TO START THE PROCESS TO RENT THEN IT BECAME A PROBLEM. FIRST OFF WENT TO GIVE THEM THE PAPER WORK THAT WE FILLED OUT FROM HOME, WENT THERE AND THE OFFICE WAS CLOSED AND WHEN I CALLED THE DAY BEFORE THEY SAID THAT THE OFFICE WILL BE OPEN AT 10:00 IN THE MORNING, THEN WHEN WE GOT THERE THE PERSON THAT WORKS THERE WASN'T THERE, WE THEN TOOK AND CAME BACK LATER, THEN WHEN WE GOT THERE ABOUT 2 HOURS LATER THE PERSON WAS AT SIDE YACKING AWAY, DIDN'T HAVE THE DOOR OPEN FOR BUSINESS. WE THEN WENT INSIDE AND GAVE HER THE PAPERWORK AND THEN SHE SAID THAT THEY DON'T TAKE CHECKS SO THEN I ASKED HER IF THEY TAKE ANYTHING ELSE BESIDES CHECKS AND SHE SAID YEAH, I THEN WENT TO THE BANK AND BROUGHT CASH, THEN SHE SAID THAT WE DON'T TAKE CASH, WE THEN WENT TO WALMART AND GOT A MONEY ORDER, WENT BACK AND GAVE IT TO HER, SHE THEN DIDN'T DO THE CREDIT CHECK RIGHT THERE SHE SAID THAT IT WILL BE DONE LATER, WHEN I ASKED HER EARLIER SHE SAID THAT IT WILL ONLY TAKE 5 MINUTES, SO WHY THEN DID I HAVE TO WAIT TIL THE NEXT DAY. THIS GIRL SEEMS LIKE HER LOOKS ARE MORE IMPORTANT TO HER THEN THE BUSINESS, CAUSE SHE WAS PAINTING HER NAILS IN THE OFFICE, THE NEXT DAY I CALLED TO ASK IF WE WERE APPROVED AND THEY SAID YES TO COME DOWN AND FINISH THE PAPER WORK, I THOUGHT THAT WE WERE ALL SET TO MOVE IN AND THEY SAID THAT THEY HAVE TO DO A WORK VERIFICATION, SO THEY DID ALL THAT AND THEN TO FIND OUT THAT WE MAKE TO MUCH OR NOT ENOUGH EITHER WAY WE LOOKED AT IT, THEY WANTED TO BE NOSEY AND TO FIND OUT WHAT WE WILL BE DOING A YEAR FROM NOW AND LIKE WE CAN LOOK IN THE FUTURE TO SEE IF WILL STILL BE WORKING AT THE SAME PLACE, I THINK THIS PLACE IS A BUNCH OF B.S. THEY WERE NOT THERE TO HELP US THERE WERE ONLY FOR THE MONEY, I THEN ASKED THEM TO HOLD THAT APARTMENT FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS AND THEY SAID OK AS LONG AS I GAVE THEM THE 100.00 MONEY ORDER, THEN TO FIND OUT LATER THAT RENTED IT OUT TO SOMEONE ELSE, I FEEL THAT WE WERE LIED TO. I THEN GOT FED UP AND TOLD THEM THAT WERE WANTED OUR MONEY BACK, THEY THEN GAVE US THE SAME MONEY ORDER BACK THIS WAS NEVER CASHED IN THE WHOLE MONTH AND THEY HAD IT, WHAT IF THE LOST IT OR IF SOMETHING HAPPENED TO IT, I ASKED HER HPW DO I GET MY MONEY BACK WITH THIS AND SHE WALKED AWAY WITHOUT HALPING ME, I WENT TO THE BANK TO SEE IF THEY COULD HELP US AND THEY WERE NICE ENOUGH TO CASH IT FOR US, THEN THE TELLER SAID THAT BECAUSE SHE WAS GOING TO SCHOOL THAT THEY WOULDN'T RENT TO HER AND THAT SHE MADE TO MUCH BECAUSE SHE WAS GETTING GOVERNMENT HELP TO GO TO SCHOOL AND THAT WAS ALL GOING TO SCHOOL TO HELP HER WITH COLLEGE NOT TO LIVE OFF OF, DON'T RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE AND THAT YOUR JUST AIMING FOR TROUBLE IF YOU DO, IF YOU WANT A GOOD JOB AND WANT OVERTIME THEN DON'T RENT FROM PEOPLE THAT DON'T WANT TO HELP YOU, THEY ARE TROUBLE TROUBLE TROUBLE!!!!!!!

Sounds like you've never rented an apartment before. No Apartment complex takes cash. As far as the money order goes, again you are lacking experience. All you have to do is take it to the place of purchase and sign that it was not used for intended purposes.Another thing, if they had lost the money order or cashed it, either way you would have had to wait for a check from corporate. Personally, I'm glad they are available as right now I'm in a bad way financially due to an injury at work and we are expecting a baby. I doubt I could have found a brand new apartment anywhere in Reno for the price and so far the people that work in the office have been nothing short of kind and understanding. If you're not some hotheaded lunatic, I would highly recommend Zephyr Pointe.

Me and my best friend are moving into this apartment in three weeks, and we went through this whole process (and this is our first apartment...we're barely 18). And we had NO TROUBLE at all. They were very understanding of our situation, and the process wasn't complicated for us because we didn't make it complicated. We've learned that the trick is to ask, ask, and ask questions so that way there is no confusion. So quit being a dumb-ass!

OK, this Woman that is raving like a lunatic is a complete moron and I will tell it to your face. Yes I feel that the office here asks for to much personal information, but they are doing what they are told. Also you must not have graduated from high school due to your lack of intelligible typing skills use f ing spell check. Another point. you are flipping out about people renting and wasting there money. Not very intelligent of you because. 1: you obviously live in an apartment or else you wouldn't be looking for a low income one. 2: You must not own your own home because YOU WERE LOOKING FOR A F ING APARTMENT YOURSELF! 3. Teen's really aren't that bad, they show respect when deserved, they are flexible in there ideas and not self opinionated, and they are going to college to better them selves and make more money than you. So to you I say buy your own home and maybe, take a spelling and writhing class you unintelligent self opiniated white trash check out girl with a dead end job and no real point or focus in life. Relying on a man (or more likely a male figure because it is a lot of work to be a MAN) to make all decisions, and real money for you. See no real swearing.

wow... so much anger. I put in an application today. I had to go out of my way a little bit, but the paper work was no big deal. The staff was kind, but they seemed a little more concerned with other buisness than my app. All in all it wasn't that bad. I haven't gotten a call back yet. My credit check was only suppose to be an hour at most (the women said0, she probably forgot to call. The grounds are very clean, the parking looks a little questionable, the apartments look great, considering the price, people look friendly, the staff look like air heads... just a bit, but they were helpful. I hope this place pans out for me in the end.

It so happens that I have money set aside that I investing while you probably take yours and blow it on stupid crap that you probably don't need or probably blew it all away gambling like most do in this town. Another thing I was not told it was low income apartment until the very last minute. Teens are not resourceful especially when they try to bring their high school politics into the work force, they are smart mouth and cocky and apparently it's what our employers like to hire in the work these days. Oh by the way, I'm getting a house sometime within the next 6 months. Yes something I can pay my own rent (me and my wife, of course, your only jealous probably because you don't have a significant other, boo hoo), and something where I don't have a landlord telling me what to do. Anaxagoris you sound someone that teaches there kids how to jam the silver spoon up their crack or someone that think they are so damn pure that they are better than everyone else, like your some Jesus freak or something. but I'm not going to waste my time on you or missybishi anymore. If you look at the top of the screen you'll notice the percentage of this place is heading south, and why is that you might ask? It's because they are actually finding out this place, and of course not falling for the tactics they have at this apartment complex. I'm going to eventually give these rating and comments to the apartment staff and see what their take is on their ratings, because they obviously have something to hide. Oh before I go about the comment in your first sentence, for one you wouldn't even dare. 99 percent possibility that you might end up of making a fool out of yourself or more than likely getting your face popped because you went and instigated something requiring some sort of law enforcement to bail you out of the situation (why most calls are made to the police dept in the first place, starting a fight and then biting off more than you can chew) I have a police scanner by the way you wouldn't get away with much. So bottom line we can keep this blog going on and on and on if you want because your not going to win anyways, no matter what. If you want to be nice then I'll be nice, if you want to be a combative little ----- then I can be that way too. 2 way streak that's how life works. I was just reading the comments on this post because I am considering renting from this complex. I am leery to rent anywhere in Reno because all the complexes have had negative reports. That is to be expected. You cannot please everyone all the time. What has prompted me to write this message is the previous comments. So here goes. Red Dog: I understand you being upset with the service that you received. Completely warranted if you feel it was poor service. However, you do sound like an under-educated man. That is fantastic that you graduated from high school and perhaps even further than that. Perhaps English was not your strongest subject. You are NOT even close to being a decent "speller." And your grammar leaves much to be desired. Proofreading is something that you should have considered before hitting the "post" button. Most of your sentences do not make sense and there are words missing. Also when speaking about another person's children the proper word is "their" not "there." If you want others to believe that you are intelligent then you really must be intelligent. I still am undecided about where I would like to live in the area. I am taking the bad reports with a grain of salt. By the way, when dealing with employees in any customer service related area, you have to be nice to them as well. Yes, they are expected to be polite but if you are rude to them, the chances of them wanting to help you are slim!
