We found these apartments and thought that it would be a great fit. The area seemed decent, it is gated, the management seemed nice and there was security and staff living on property. Although most apartments come with one covered parking spot, this place charged $10 per month for covered parking and $85 for garage. We thought we could just use the uncovered parking. It was always taken. The first month there, maintenance had to come in 3 times: 1st time to fix the heater, 2nd to fix the water heater, and 3rd to fix the water heater again. A couple of months after move in, they started charging us for extra things that we did not use such as covered parking, pet rent. My car was broken into around 11 pm; the on-site security is worthless. The landscaping guys are there at 6 am with their lawnmowers and leafblowers so I hope you don't plan on sleeping in. Upon move out, they refused to give us back our refundable deposit ($700) and charged almost $500 for cleaning a place that I spent more than a full day cleaning. I am taking them to small claims court. I feel like these guys are just after your money and they are willing to do it any way they can while smiling.
