I would highly suggest living in this building. There are great opportunities for meeting new people and management will personally assist you with any issues you may have promtply.

If you are a person who likes to live somewhere with a little history/character/privacy then this is perfect.

When I first moved into the Hinkle it was well maintained and maintanance (although not very personable or polite) fixed what needed to be fixed and responded to complaints. The building was recently sold. During the transition to the new owner things fell to the side a little (as to be expected) but the new owner has replaced the old management company and things have vastly improved.

Also, this is the only place in downtown Albany where you will find any adequate parking. This street rarely has crime and is right across from Lincoln park for those of you who are runners. You are also allowed to have pets (dogs/cats) which you will not find in most other buildings. Close walking distance to Lark street and all other downtown attractions.
