Skyline Gardens

I lived here unfornately for 3 1/2 years. My friend refered me here because my credit was bad and I was strapped for cash. The neighbors were section 8 welfare fritos. They were ghetto, played loud music 24/7, were jailbirds and pedophiles. I hated that place. So many riff raffs hanging out at all time. Lots and lots of weed smoking, drug dealing as well as petty theft. This place was filled with low lives who hated on others who worked and didn't hang out with them. The apt complex punished the good tenants for the bad ones who didn't pay their rent by taking away the free heat and hot water. The rent goes by your income because it is a HUD program. My neighbor was a convicted murderer, rapist and prolific child molester. They don't screen people well. The females allow their boyfriends from jail move in and then the chaos begins. Be prepared for a lot of domestic violence calls throughout the year. Lots of baby daddy/ baby mama drama and fist fights. There were multitudes of children playing and up all night long in the summer. Absolutely no quiet at night when you sleep due to fights, parties and sirens. They were rude and troublesome as well. I was broke and couldn't move out till 2006. I mainly stayed in doors at all times. The management changed so often. They tried so badly to help change the community but no one cared to get involved. The walls are so poorly constructed that the insulation was horrible. There was always a draft at all times. Expect a heating bill for atleast $350 a month. They never ever ever salted or did snow removal. Tenants took matters in their own hands. Countless people have fallen, broken limbs and sued the apt. complex. It was a bad experience. The surrounding community is low income, drug dealers, drop outs and had a lot of truancy problems.
