I lived at the Towers for about 17 months between 2004 and 2006. Never had an issue.

Pros - Big apartments, lots of space, thick THICK walls.
Appliances ALWAYS worked and worked well.
The electrical grid Colonie is on must be impervious to outages. Never had one in 17 months.
Plenty of parking - plenty of VISITOR parking. Never once had a visitor hassled.

Cons - Electric heat, but as a previous poster said, you're in control.
Air conditioner cools the living room only. The bedroom could get quite warm in the summer.
I left the Towers in February 2006 when I relocated for a new job out of state. I was about 5 months into my next lease. I had always paid rent on time - never late. I wrote a letter to management explaining my situation - and they still charged me more than $2500 to break the lease. I understand they're a business, but I thought they'd be a little more understanding. It's not like I was leaving because I hated the place.
