Woodlake is a nice place but still has plenty of problems.

Pros:
really nice property - walking around the property was a pleasure. The pool is amazing and I felt like I was in a resort everytime I went.
I lived in a place where parking was no problem - and I never felt worried about the safety of my car.
Maintenance was pretty good - always took care of snow and leaves. If you insist enough, they'll give you everything you want. (We got new toilet, bathroom sink and cabinet, big water heater).
The bedroom was spacious - more space than I needed. And a walk-in-closet.
It was easy to hear others, but most people were quiet, so noise wasn't a problem.
Really convenient location - right next to thruway/northway, Crossgates Mall...

Cons:
I lived in a place that had no direct sunlight and we had a major mold problem in the summer. So it was very cool in the summer (we never used A/C)but it was freezing in the winter and the heating bill was outrageous. They said you can use the gas heat in the dining room - but that only heats half the apartment and the bedrooms need electric. The windows were bad so it was pretty cold in the apartment.
The laundry machines are AWFUL and I hated going to the laundromat.
The kitchen is tiny, and the kitchen is a very important part of the home!
The carpets were weird and you have to get a really good vacuum cleaner to be able to clean it.

Overall, I'd recommend it only if you have the money. And try to get an apartment with direct sunlight.
