This place is beautiful. Overpriced but great space and nice outdoors. However, the maintenance staff does not care much. You will end up with bees and large spiders in your apartment due to the age of the air conditioner vents. At 5am, you may wake up to a buzzing above your head from a bee or wasp. Yikes!

Also, for all the geese and ducks and other wildlife that are so pretty and nice to have around. The maintenance crew treats them as pests and isn't kind to cats either. You can have cats for $30.00 exta a month per cat, but don't let maintenance in without fully warning you have a cat and shutting your cat in another room. Also, outdoor cats are a problem and maintenance chases them.

If none of that stopped you, then you may like it here. But be careful of the wiring. There have been fires here due to shorts (one in Spring 2007) and in the several units that I have seen, there are outlets that don't work. If you plug in 3 things (TV, alarm clock and cell phone) in my whole bedroom, it blows the circuit.

So let me assure you that living here is not the worst by far but I have found better for less money right in the area. My advice is keep shopping.

the rental agents must be bored bc no one wants to rent here so they're playing games with the reviews here which is why it appears to be 4 or 5 stars. wow, grow up ladies! You may rent out but you don't have long term residents here. I'd say most apartments are flipped in a year to two years....considering a rat crawling thru the walls doesn't eat away at them first.

pee wee 1954 (woodlake staff) Yes a ..hole, I did move after 3 months of hell worrying that the place would go up in smoke every night. Yes and FILTH, obviously YOU dont live at woodlake. And if I choose to print the apartment number I will. IT IS APARTMENT 59-3 WITH THE HOT OUTLETS!
