I have to admit I was relocated back upstate and needed a place to stay. Luckily I was looking at other places while living here. I could not believe how run down this place was for the $$ spent in rent. I had problems with ants. Management was no help....So I put out traps on my own and did my own spraying. It worked....for a little while. The couple neighbors I had were older and great to spend time with. Most of the people here are trash. Those that want to live in a clean place seem to be the only ones who are complaining and nothing gets done. I guess management knows that the majority of people there....dont care where they live or the conditions they live in.

I moved to saratoga county and live in a brand new lux apartment complex....double the rent...but so well worth it. this is how apartment living should be! no bugs, private attached garages, very nice neighbors!

Best of luck to those still living there.

PS- the comment about the office staff entering info on here (positive) is true. A friend of mines sister works in the office and it slipped out that she was doing that.

Just a few days ago the ratings for Woodlake were at 56%. Kind of odd that the ratings were submitted within ten days (11/20 to 11/30) with all positive reviews/ The real reviews by the real renters not the office staff which posts fake reviews all the time???increased the number percent of reviews from 56% and jumped up to 70 something percent in just a matter of a short time. We all know the women in the rental office submit false but always positive reviews. In fact, the posted so many reviews lately that the 5 star ratings covered the first page of the reviews. To get an accurate and unbalanced opinion of this place go to page 2/ Oh and ask how many of the maintenance men on staff have criminal records. Do you want these people to have access to you and your loved ones? And as far as being "chicken," maybe I am afraid that my building will burn down, like building 33. Read page 2 of the ratings folks...people still have problems with electric outlets and such. In fact, I spoke with someone at the fire department who stated that these buildings lack a firewall thus they are unsafe... Read on... Signed, A real resident

I find it amusing that this person complains about woodlake and moved to a luxury apartment that cost "double the rent." That means you're paying about $2000/month. WTF? You better have a nice place for that... cause no other apartment complex outside of NYC will charge that much.

We all know who submitted all the false positive reviews. Laurie and Heather in the rental office. Since you stated you chose to live at Woodlake, how are you enjoying your $1200 a month apartment (added cable, internet, phone and even lowballed the utilities) in Woodlake AKA The Ghetto Of Guilderland. I am here in my nice cozy apartment with no rats no fire hazards no trash tenants no maintenance men with criminal records no tenants with criminal records, especially tenants accused of rape. Ahh, so Forrest Gump was right, life is like a box of chocolates at Woodlake. You never know what dumpy ghetto apartment is waiting for your signature on Woodlakes lease. Enjoy!

"In fact, the posted so many reviews lately that the 5 star ratings covered the first page of the reviews." The women in the office complex did not write "all" of the reviews (if any. Don't you think they have better things to do). I wrote a positive review and whole heartedly stand behind it. I've lived at Woodlake for three years now, and after looking at other apartment complexes with friends, I am definately glad I chose to live here.
