I've lived in Woodlake for going on a year now and I love it. They do a great job of plowing in the winter so I never have a problem getting out, and the parking is wonderful with available garages. Oh but in the summer months... It's beautiful! You can cook out on your porch and there is a lake and a fountain (with lights at night that's very nice) and during the day there are cute little squirrels and ducks running around. It's a nice bit of nature to have in your backyard. People are always out jogging the circle and enjoying the view. I've lived in the capital district my whole life and I don't know why anyone would get an apartment any place else. The people at the rental office are super nice, they'll even refund you no questions asked if the laundry machine eats one of your quarters. The maintenance people will fix everything including shot light-bulbs and clogged toilets, and they can usually come the same day. The pool is open during all the warm moths and it's really nice, and I've never had a problem with anyone living here. Never gotten a noise complaint, never been disturbed by anyone else. People are friendly here.

Well it isn't. I really do like it here. I don't like the carpets (would prefer hardwood), and I don't like that the laundry machines sometimes eat your quarters (but as i said they will refund your $) but aside from that I think the good far outweighs those minor things here, and I literally have no idea why there would be people hating on woodlake online. Seems totally lame to me. I guess people are always more likely to bother to leave negative feedback (human nature sadly) but seriously, I go swimming, I play tennis, I go jogging, I feed ducks, I cook out, and I'm home all day b/c i work online and no one ever bothers me. Even when I jam out to music or watch a movie on surround sound, no one complains b/c the walls are reasonable. This is a nice place to live, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. The laundry machines are not wonderful and neither are the carpets, but everything else here is awesome.
