My boyfriend and I have lived at Cedarwood now for two years. Our lease expires very soon and we're ecstatic to get out! We spent nearly a month researching and visiting other complexes before making our final decision and I couldn't believe how much more professional the staff was and just how much care and attention we got. It made me wonder why we ever wasted our time at Cedarwood.

Upon living there for less than a year, the tiles caved in around the bathtub fixtures. We had a leak in our ceiling which they barely repaired.

Our last winter was an absolute nightmare when our heat went below 52 degrees. We contacted the emergency number and had a gentleman enter our apartment and tell us that we had heat...ridiculous. Our thermostat was literally reading 52 degrees...maintenance reasons behind this was that the wall was on the outside of the building and was giving a reading based on that...not true!! The wall our thermostat is on does NOT face outside so this was again, ridiculous. My boyfriend and I were wearing at least three layers of clothes and had numerous blankets on top of us. We were told that if we went to stay at a hotel that they would not cover the cost as we did have heat. Other tenants in our building were experiencing the same problem and they were all told the same thing. I threatened to contact the Better Business Bureau or the Housing Authorities to which they finally decided to do something.

Snow removal is also a nightmare...I have had my car plowed in numerous times and literally had to dig myself out. I understand that they have to plow but tenants should be made aware of when they plan on doing so so we may move our cars to a vacant spot.

The grounds are very poorly kept...I see trash lying around all the time and for some odd reason we have a rather large dumpster in our parking lot (which takes up at least 5 parking spots) and tentants throw everything from their own garbage to furniture into this. I don't understand why the other dumpster isn't good enough...'''

Office management is not very friendly nor professional.

I recently heard that there's a Level 2 Sex Offender living in Building A...that's quite disturbing...I realize they have to live somewhere (jail sounds good) but I do believe all tenants, current and incoming, should be made aware, especially if they have children and are living in that building.

Bottom line...I wouldn't recommed this place to anyone.
