We were looking only in the Baldwinsville area, and decided to choose Cedarwood because heat and hot water are included. They don't gladly except cats and dogs like they advertise. When we moved in we were told we could have dogs up to 30lbs for additional fees. Once we got our first dog, we all of a sudden found out that our building had restrictions for dogs, but after paying $135 and $35 for the next 2 mos all was ok, as long as nobody complaigned. Then due to extended families emergency we acquired another dog, we were willing to pay for it or move to another building. Which the staff originally told us was an option. A wk later they called back and told us our only option is to get rid of both our dogs, yes even the one we paid for already, or to break our lease. So we're looking for another place right now. Once you first go in you think it's really nice, however after you live there for a week you realize how poorly done the apartment is. We have a huge crack in our living room ceiling, they paint everything, including the closet, metal doors and heaters, so you get hot paint fumes with the heat on. Our garbage disposal broke after a wk, and now the sink wont drain. Maintaince is rude, and liars also. We never called maintainence, and they came twice claiming to be fixing the heat, however they only walked in the bathroom and looked at the heater and walked out. They were spying on us, also they have free rein to any apartment, there are no restrictions for them to enter apartments. All my neighbors and myself hate it here and can't wait to leave. So save your money, and invest in a nice place, even if you have to pay for all your utilities.
