I have lived here for almost one year and I dont plan on renewing. If I could have broken my lease, I would have moved out two weeks after I moved in! Lori and Alisha seem so nice when you sign your lease but beyond that, they are jokes! They think of no one but themselves and dont care if you have a complaint or a problem. First off, the snow removals sucks! How they think they can remove snow in central New York with a BOBCAT is beyond me! My car has gotten stuck in the snow numerous times trying to pull in or out. They tell you they will call up to your apartment so you can move your car so they can plow, but thats false. They just plow you in and dont give a damn if you are stuck or not. And when they do tell you to remove your car, the maintenance men are so rude. They scream and yell at you and tell you to shut up and threaten to have your car towed! Second problem is Lori and Alisha. They are so nice when you first move in but then they dont care whether you have a problem or complaint. They say they will fix it but they never do. They are only interested in your rent money. Third problem is noise. The Kimbrook Manor website states that they have "unique sound resistant construction" thats crap! I can hear the people above me have conversations, run their garbage disposal and shut cupboards. I can hear the people next to be have conversations. I can hear doors shut and people buzz in to other apartments from my bedroom - with the bedroom door shut! Its ridiculous! Fourth problem is the cost to live here. While it is nice to have 2 bathrooms with 2 bedrooms, one would think that paying the amount you pay to live here, you would get treated better, have some amenities paid for, and not be able to hear other tenants while trying to sleep! Not to mention, they charge you through the roof to have a pet - $100.00 non refundable fee plus a designated extra amount per month depending on the size of the animal (for possible damages they may but probably wont cause) Am I wrong, or isnt that something that should be covered in the security deposit!' I thought this was going to be a nice quiet place to live but I was so wrong. Save yourself a lot of time, trouble, money, and headaches and rent somewhere else!

oh yes. I agree. I love waking up in the middle of the night to the seemingly 700 lb dog they have living above me who loves to run laps around the apartment at all hours of the night. It is completly apparent that the person above me works nights because their dog runs rampid all night and I can always count on waking up to them being loud and slamming the doors at all hours. I went out and bought my own shovel because you cant count on them... and I think the salt is considerate... its their way of saying "we care enough that you dont slip on our icy walkways and sue our butts, but not enough to get our lazy staff out of bed early enough to do it for you." so sweet! and I agree with your wife - the "snow removal procedures" quite ironic and humerous considering, the few times we have had a significant amount of snow this year, I havent seen a plow or any sort of snow removal. I think they are big fans of 'just keep driving over it so it packs the snow down and eventually turns it all into a slippery track to drive over.' But hey, we cant all think logically when we run a business now can we!?

to the person who posted this first initial comment...work a couple extra hours ....and you can cancel your lease. 500 dollars isnt a lot of money. I gotta say , the dog thing is ------ though, apparently the ones who deal with it arent very repetitive about "complaining" ...have you tried seeing the two at the office face to face?? confrontation works better than pissing and moaning over the phone. People are retards.

i wouldnt really call that maitnence. i have called you guys like 3 times to fix my dishawasher and told you it makes my clean dishes dirty and my dirty dishes dirtier. everytime they come to fix it, they put jet dry in it and run it. seriously? is that how you fix a dishwasher? thats like filling your power steering fluid when you have a blown transmission. not only that but i get cut everytime i open it. is it too much to ask that i get a new dishwasher after its 30 year anniverary of being in this apartment? oh and i cant exactly confront you face to face because i have a life and im not home when you are working. besides, i know nothing is going to get done. but its okay, no hard feelings. i could care less. im just giving you my feed back and letting you know that no one likes you as much as you do. just keep being a ----- because as soon as my lease runs up i am moving to a place that doesn't happen to look like the set from "That 70's Show"

No this is Lori. I pride myself on always being professional and these personal attacks are all false. Both Alisha and myself are here everyday with a great attitude, smiles on our faces, and ready to handle anything brought to our attention. We care about our residents and they come first to us!! As for the minor noises that the above anonymous person is complaining about this is an apartment community and you have neighbors that you will hear occasionally. We do not deny that and are honest from your initial contact with us on what you will expect from living here. I have lived in Kimbrook Manor for 5 years and have been extremely happy with my living conditions. I rarely hear or see my neighbors or their pets, I have never had to park far from my building, and have never gotten my car stuck in the snow from poor snow removal. But I have owned a home in the past so the conditions at Kimbrook Manor are all too convenient and less expensive then an upkeep for a home. Not to mention it is so nice to have maintenance complete repairs at the drop of a dime and live in a community that is well maintained all year round. Good luck to you and we hope you find a perfect home. As for preyludant we have an answering service that you can call 24/7 so please leave us a message so we can schedule repairing and if need be replacement of your dishwasher. If it still is not working properly we would like to take care of it for you.

Lori is so nice....until you sign the lease. Totally UNprofessional and so is the maintenance crew which consist of old dumb losers who are pissed of at life for there crap job. They tried accusing me of not cleaning up my dog poop and then threatened to fine me if I didn't comply to clean it up. When I proved it wasn't my dogs crap I didn't get an apology for being lied to and threatened. The sidewalk is an ice rink in the winter. They told my frien who is in a wheel chair to "get a shovel" when he asked if they could shovel the sidewalk so he could get to his apartment. Appliences are form "That 70's Show." YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

I think the staff is really nice here. Alicia has never been anything but a sweetheart to me and the other workers I've had cotact with werent so bad, one helped me push my car off a snowbank - parking spot durring winter. Lori on the other hand has been nothing but pretend nice untill she can find a spot to stick in a callus remark. I find her to be a fake person that seems to care about nothing but herself. Of corse her apartment is upkept better than others because she can update or have anything fixed as she wants at the drop of a hat. When preyludant dosn't even have a dishwasher that works correctly, and I have dog piss in my entryway.
