I lived in Village Green for two years. The grounds are always nicely kept. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The listen to your complaints and even work with you to make living their more enjoyable. The manager, Joan, is a lovely lady who works with her tenents to the best of her ability. Like most, she is limited in some things she can do but she does everything she is allowed to tackle.
Service issues are dealt with promptly, which is very nice.
The noise is controled with good insulation and walls, but the front doors allow alot of noise through, the only draw back there. If that is the only real noise I will say it is a blessing compared to the apartment I'm in now. You hear everything from the upstairs, including people walking and the running of vaccums. So the noise at Village Green is very slight compared to my new location.
The rooms are a nice size and the interiors are well kept up and replaced. The appliances are a much better grade than even the apartment I'm in now. There is also a good amount of storage. The only draw back is the air conditioner, only one in the living room that doesn't supply to the back bedrooms.
The parking can be a problem at times but not on most occasions, about like finding a spot near the front door at the grocery store, so it is accecptable in my eyes.
The laundry room and hallways are well kept, except as most have stated in their comments only one washer and dryer for 8 apartments. The new card system is great, no more hunting up quarters to do laundry.
The only real downfall is the lack of a play area for children. Having kids myself, I realized the kids would play in the parking areas, which were rather large where I was staying, and around the grass areas close to people's apartments. This could pose problems for people that don't like or have tolerence for children. Overall the kids didn't damage or bother people except for those rare few "bad" kids. If there was a play area this property would be ideal for families with children more so than it is now.
The pool is nice but not very deep or big, so take that into account. The weight room is very nice. The monthly activites the office runs are nice and that extra added touch that makes the tenent feel involved and welcomed.
Overall it is a great place to live and wish we were still there but alas, they don't have 3 bedroom apartments to fit our growing family.

If you lived at VG for two years, why does it say you lived there from 2005-2005...something just doesn't sound right.
You sound more like a commercial for them, rather than a tenant.
