Overall, Village Green is a nice place to live. The apartments are modern with the only exception that there is no central air conditioning. There is one air conditioner for the living room, so you'll have to get your own for the bedroom(s). The closets and cabinets are large, and there are storage closets included for each apartment on the second floor. The water loop heating works exceptionally well in the winter. Grounds are kept nice and clean. There are some residents who are slobs, leaving wrappers and cigarette butts here and there, but there is little you can do about that. They allow cats and dogs of all sizes, which is great for me. There are restrictions on breeds, but that's probably forced upon them by their insurance carrier. There are a few residents who are too lazy to pick up after their dogs, but the staff do their best to stop it if you report them. Whoever says apartments aren't for dogs, even large ones, doesn't know much about them or probably think nothing of leaving them stuck inside a house, day in and out. They can be stuck in a house just as easily as an apartment. There are green areas specifically for dogs and the general area is fine for walkings. My medium sized dog is very happy. Well, enough of that diatribe. The staff are courteous and professional. They are attentive to problems and make sure that the residents are happy. They hold monthly events, often catered and free, which is a real nice touch. My only complaint is there are only one washer and dryer per 8 apartments. It hasn't been a major problem, but it can be frustrating sometimes. I haven't lived in many apartments, but this one sets the standard.
