I Love my townhouse. Yes there is a landfill... there really is not a bad smell. I use the gym and the pool and they are great. Parking can be tight...but we live in LI... land isn't cheap... you do have your own driveway (that means you always have your garage and driveway to park in). Ya the gates are not the greatest, but when they were closed all the time the other residents just drove through them so they were broken all the time.
I love the townhouse style (I never hear the other people around me) and I love maintenace staff. They do get fixed fast. The managment has changed... when I signed my lease it was Alexan...the office staff seemed a little better then... but they are still good now... nothing like the craziness that that is written about on this site. I am not sure who these people are but I really hope that they do not live close to me! I loved around at other places in the area and I am going to stay here... so not perfect but the best in the area!

Yes, This area of Bellport is safe. Bellport is a very Diverse Community.. If you drive around you will see poverty and you will see homes worth millions. When Alexan was built it changed the demographics of Bellport. I feel very safe walking around the commuinty and general area as a single female.
