I lived at Atlantic Point for 3 full years and I can honestly say that I have no complaints. The management and maintenance are awesome. As with anything, people always find things to complain about. I was very lucky with the noise issue because my neighbors were very quiet and professional. But I can see as to that being a possible problem since the walls in all new complexes aren't as thick as that in a brick building. As for the bug problem, that did happen at times, but an exterminator was always available at my request. And as for people complaining about parking, give me a break! If you have 3 cars, of course you'll have a problem. My answer to that is downsize to 2 or even 1...and save the planet while you're at it. Do not hesitate to move here...just ask who will be living next to you because that can make all the difference. If you are single, try to get a unit not next to someone with children. As for the landfill, I smelled it maybe 4 times in 3 years. Other than that, I loved living here. The grounds are impecable, the staff courteous, and I wouln't have moved out but my commute was too long to the city. The things that I will miss most is the feel of living in a apartment that felt more like a home and the geese, ducks, and frogs in the springtime. And, and one more thing, upon moving out my apartment was inspected and the damages I was charged for were all valid and the complex was extremely fair in that respect because I expected a much higher bill. They actually prorated the cost of replacing the carpet since I had lived there for 3 years. This was a great place to live:)UPDATE: If given the chance I would go back to Atlantic Point in a heartbeat! I live in Brooklyn now and hate it. If the rent was cheaper I wouldn't hesitate to go back. Also, if they sold these units as condos I would be the first in line. Miss you Atlantic Point...keep up the good work! Shout out to Mark and Cara, simply the best!

Manager's Response

From: Manager Date: 07/08/2007
Thank you for writing about your experience. We appreciate your feedback. We do everything possible to make our residents happy, and when we hear nice things like what you said, it makes us proud.

We wish you the best of luck. Thanks again!

***UPDATE*** If there was a "prior resident of the year" award, you would certainly deserve to win. As you see on this website, I answer all reviews and questions...good or bad. Although some bad reviews are legitimate, I do respect them and try to answer as best I can. Most bad reviews however make us laugh, such as the one that responded to your review. They are simple, filled with all hate and no usefull information. Its pathetic but a reality. Most times however, we get a chuckle, like we did with this one. Thanks again for telling it like it is. Even if you were going to give a negative review, we can tell that your words would have been well thought out and had some level of intelligent description(s).

***UPDATE*** on 3/18 and 3/21 comments. Anonymous of 3/21, no reason for name calling, although the comments of the 3/18 person lack any intelligence and its obvious. You are correct, I suggest everyone who is concerned with the anonymous 3/18 comments search for this themselves, but unfortunately you will be wasting your time because it is not true. Wishing all of our residents and prospective residents a happy spring and hope to see you soon.

To Anonymous, I am entitled to grant a positive review from my own experience and my experience was very good. And yes, we are talking about the same place. I lived on Yarrow Circle. And for the record I do not live under a rock and never have. Keep your negative comments to your own post and try to lighten up a little bit. Life is too short. If you are not happy where you live, one suggestion, move out! Seriously, if someone reading this is considering renting here than I highly recommend it. Remember though that there is no nirvana anywhere and every place will have it's problems. You have to be realistic in your expectations. Good luck!

alliance1...one article from 2008 about someone arrested for drug possession? Is that the best you can do? What happened to the child molesters and murders? Sounds like you are a grumpy hater who must have not got your way with management or neighbors and now are just trying to bash. And Mr. Anonymous (look whos talking about anonymous), no, I'm not the manager or any employee for that matter, but if I was, you would not be living here., thats for sure. Jerk-off!!!
