We have lived here for 1-1/2 years and will be leaving soon. I am reading some of the reviews and wanted to add my thoughts. The mouse problem is true please don't say it is because you don't keep your aparment clean. We do have a clean apartment and we throw our trash out daily. The reason for us to have the mice was because we stored food in our garage. We have no room in our kitchen because it is sooooo small in our unit. We knew this going in so it is not a complaint it is the truth. Anyway, we stored food in the garage on PVC units and the mice came in and chewed through boxes of food. We set traps and moved the food out of the garage and problem was solved. We never called about the problem because we understood that this may happen from several neighbors we spoke to that had the same problem. The biggest problem we had with this aparment was the heat. There are so many drafts in this apartment. The fireplace had to be covered with plastic to keep the cold air out. We also but the TV unit in front of it to stop the draft. The front door and garage door have such a big gap on top that you can actually see the light from outside at night. The temp. downstairs is about 5-10 degrees cooler in the winter. The heating bills are so high because you have to keep the heat up all day just so you don't freeze. The bedroom over the garage is freezing and we had to move our daughter out of the room so she wouldn't be cold. As for maintenance I would suggest filling out your request on line. When I call the office it takes longer then if you request on line. When I made my request online at 9:00 at night I had the problem fixed the next day. I feel the maint. guys get a bad rap because the office staff doesn't give the request on a timely basis. Perhaps I am wrong but every time I called it took at least a day for a response and every time I have requested online I got a response right away. I have an issue with the office staff also, some of the people are great and are very knowledable however some have no clue and should not be working there. Overall, I would say do your research before you move in think about the pros and cons and make a decision that is good for you. Am I glad we are leaving yes, however, it didn't work for us but I know a lot of tenants that are very happy. Oh yea, also the pet rent is outrageous!!! They know your going to pay because you love your animals!

| If you keep food in the garage the answer on mouse issues is obvious. I cant even elaborate on this any more than that. If you have a drafty fireplace, come to the office. We have came up with a solution and have not had issues ever since. In regards to maintenance requests, I personally get these via email if you respond online, so this is the same as calling the office. Lastly, in regards to pet rent, this is a business and pet rent is ancillary income for the property. We are one of very few complexes that allow pets, so obviously there will be fees associated with having a pet. On a final note, your comment that some of the office people "have no clue and should not be working there" was really uncalled for. ALL of our staff are professionally trained, curteous and VERY knowledgeable. Perhaps if you came to me with your problems your issue would have got resolved. I get nothing but compliments about our staff. | |

I never see mice or leave my "garbage"(belongs in a dumpster not a garage) in my garage>garages are for cars or storage NOT your dirty smelly garbage! I feel sorry for management when they must address such narrow minded people. You have no clue of how bad it is elsewhere until you try. We have never been happier, quiet, clean, friendly staff.

The pet rent here is expense. $500 deposit, $50 a month. Most other places are $250, $35 a month. Especially since my little dog is only 5lbs.
