Been here almost my whole life... All neighborhoods change in NYC, except the wealthy ones. Well, this is middle class...maybe some subletters(illegal), but overall, we are hard working, concerned for our neighbors, type of community. Of course not everyone is friendly, but if you are, you won?t have a problem finding nice people to talk too. We?ve had our share of construction problems, but most have been eradicated. Never had a problem with our maintenance department. If you have an emergency{tiolet overruns, a/c leak), it is taken care of within a few hours. We are currently getting our windows, elevators, and garages, upgraded. Age hasn?t been the best to us, but over all, this is a very good place to live. Apartments are VERY spacious, views are FABULOUS. My building is very clean...our lobby and apartment floors are waxed regulary. I feel safe here. Come see for yourself. Don?t let negative people pursuade you otherwise. We sure have our share of them here...lol Nothing makes them happy......
