Hope you are never late with your rent or the management will have your car towed. No one will ever visit you if you live here, there's no parking. Some of the neighbors are least to be desired. My neighbors use power tools, play basketball, jump rope at ALL hours. Oh, they also run a 24hr daycare. Luxury Projects.

I live in a similar "Luxury Project" in Williamsburg Brooklyn. Was just wondering has Co-Op city had a large maitnenance increase at all the past year or so? We've had 20% increase in 2008 and then other increases approved by HPD for the next 3 years that are far from affordable. Any insight would be great !

If there is loud disturbing noise call the CCPD. They respond quickly and will issue fines. If there is a business being run out of your neighbors unit you can complain to your CSO because they are not allowed to do that. I find nothing wrong with cars being towed if carrying charges are late. They only do this after several warnings have been given. If someone is not paying on time for a space they should not have the privilege. A lot of people are waiting for parking spots. To apuccino: Our HPD approved increase was 6% this year and will be 5% next. Sorry about your 20% !!!!

To the original poster, I probably live in the worst building of CC in Section 5. CCPD are useless. I called them so many times and made official complaints regarding my drug dealing neighbors, who party outside of my apartment door, up to ten different people-nice way to come home at night. CCPD ignore my request and stopped even trying to silence them. They shoot craps in the hallway, smoke weed and cigarettes, have different people coming inside their apartments 24 hours a day. The whole building wants them gone but it's easy for them to pay the rent. CCPD also are horrible. They banged on my door at 1 in the morning demanding I open up my door. I did not. They found out they had the wrong apartment and didn't even apologize for scaring the crap out of me. I am planning my escape out of CC, it has been on its way to becoming a crime infested ghetto for twenty plus years. They have taken in such undesirables. Plus, CC is over-crowded and not conveniently located.

>CCPD are useless That's because they're not real cops. Just a private security force with inadequate training and substandard law enforcement skills. You'd be better protected by the guardian angels.

co-op city is a beautiful place to live, but its the cso office and admin, that are horrible i dont think that anyone who works in thoes offices has completed 10th grade, talk about attitude yikes, most of them have no clue what they are talking about and would be better off sitting at home waiting till the 1st of the month for their checks,
