I probably live in the worst building of CC in Section 5.
CCPD are useless.
I called them so many times and made official complaints regarding my drug dealing neighbors, who party outside of my apartment door, up to ten different people-nice way to come home at night.
CCPD ignore my request and stopped even trying to silence them.
They shoot craps in the hallway, smoke weed and cigarettes, have different people coming inside their apartments 24 hours a day.
The whole building wants them gone but it's easy for them to pay the rent.
CCPD also are horrible.
They banged on my door at 1 in the morning demanding I open up my door.
I did not.
They found out they had the wrong apartment and didn't even apologize for scaring the crap out of me.
I am planning my escape out of CC, it has been on its way to becoming a crime infested ghetto for twenty plus years.
They have taken in such undesirables.
Plus, CC is over-crowded and not conveniently located.
I predict in less than ten years that CC will raise the maintenance closer to the average market value that it won't be worth it to live there.
They won't be able to keep the professional working class there.

I have lived in co-op city until 1981, when it started to become a ghetto. ------- started coming in and ruined it for all the whites, ------, ---------, asians,-------, etc. We had an extremely diverse neighborhood living in harmony. I remember niglets defecating right in front of my apartment building like the little animals that they are for example. Also getting mugged/robbed for groceries and money was a common occurance. Storage rooms being broken into, and being ambushed in the elevators or stairwells at some times of day. It was getting to be a zoo.

You're an idiot, Brx-2FL. No, I never drank, smoke, and cursed to the point I caused disruption to my neighbors. No, I never had a dozen people congregate outside the hallway in front my neighbor's apartment door and used it as a lounge. No, I never assaulted a maintenance worker when the worker found me doing an illegal activity to point the maintenance worker was bleeding and needed medical attention. No, I never shot craps outside my neighbor's apartment door with a bunch of friends at 4 in the morning. No, I never sold illegal drugs in my apartment and had Tom, ----, and Harry coming out there at all times of the day and night. You're an epic fail! And probably the same degenerate garbage that defends uncouth and uncivilized behavior and crap where you live, not appreciating it. I truly feel sorry for your neighbors with your mentality.
