Location is Key. Co-op has its own neighborhoods within.

I have lived in Co-op City my whole life.
I just recently bought an apartment for myself.
I must say that my new building is quite different than my parents.
It is quieter and the grounds are a bit prettier.
I am on a secluded street, but I am close to all the stores and malls.
It isnt too difficult to get repairs done if you can take the long wait on the phone.
Unless it's an Emergency.
After normal business hours the number of people on staff can be counted on one hand.
Expect a long wait if you are locked out of your apartment.
Staff is almost always courteous.
Some buildings are kept better than others, and that can be best told by looking at the basement and laundry room.
If you choose to view an apartment, dont forget to see the laundry room and basement area.
I do not recommend anyone live near Truman High School on Donizetti Place or Dreiser Loop.
