Three years of living in Parkchester were a total nightmare. Neighbors all around me often blasted their stereos throughout the night. The people above me did not have carpeting and were not ordered to install it because they were owners. I often was forced to listen to their domestic disputes. Security is useless. Management is useless, unprofessional, incompetent and rude. Whenever I called I was passed around until someone hung up on me. My calls were never returned. I had a gas leak in my apartment last Fall and was told by maintenance to keep my windows open because there was nothing they could do about it. The office
asked me what my problem was for complaining that something needed to be done right away.I moved out four months ago and they are refusing to give me my security deposit back by insisting that they do not have a forwarding address even though I went into the office twice in the past three months to make sure that they had it. Basically, they discriminate against white people and have no idea how what property management is all about. The people who work for Parkchester are just plain dumb. I do not recommend this place for anyone who wants a nice place to live and feel at home.
