how can the neighborhood improve if you bash it. it's not perfect , there are some questionable activities, the fighting, somedrugs, but if you think that lenox and orange county are immune to that, then you're wrong.
i've grown up in the bronx so maybe i'm somewhat accustomed to it. but the only way it's going to get better is if we stand up for our community. and speak up. the politicians want a better class of people in parkchester here. write to carrion and ferrer and complain. trust me, they can lean on parkchester management. complain directly to management about maintenance.tell them what is dity, what is not being replaced.

it's not perfect, but it is special. and can become more so with time. in 1995 it was garbage, since then things have improved immensely have patience. work at it. and stop discouraging people just so you can have your chance to bash the area. those of us who work hard and love our neighborhood would like to see it improve and you're not helping
