I bought my property as an investment 3 years ago, with the intension of renting to private tenants.

After renovating the apartment's kitchen and bathroom I decided to give it a try and live the property for a while, it has been 3 years now that I spend my working week in Parkchester and weekends in my house upstate.

I must say that I do live right behind Macy's which right now is the face of Parkchester.

Parking is not easy, but where it is in NY City.

I have seen a 100% return in my investment as my equity has risen dramatically.

My apartment in its current condition would appraise for easily 300-400k in Brooklyn, Queens and higher in Manhattan.

I was very skeptical at the time of my purchase since I have heard so many bad things about property management, fortunately upon purchase the property had been completely renovated regarding its plumbing and electricity, in addition to new windows for that reason I have no opinions as per maintenance department issues since I have had no need to contact them yet.

I do not regret at all my decision to stay in the property.
