When I first moved here in 2003, yes there were roaches but nothing that most bronxites can't handle.
However the maintenece crew works hard on curbing the problem.
I find it convenient for transportation, grocery stores, restaurants and shopping.
The laundromats are decent and I feel safe.
My husband and I think that for our 2 year old child, there are clean parks to play without stepping on a syringes or garbage.
In the winter time the snow is cleaned up before most people get up in the morning.
I have no problems with Parkchester
