hell yeah its the shyt it got rats,roaches,waterbugs,bee's every----ing where.ni99as every ------- where dumb ass birds(chicken heads) every ------- where your kids will grow up to be (slides)-which b!tches that give head(suck ---- and balls and drink sperm or put all ova there mouth)! your husband or wife will cheat you with the mail man or lady. the "oval" only looks hot in the winter the south is fulled with crack,gangs,and non-educated kids and adults.the east nothing but fight everyday the north is just ------- boring as shyt they dont even have friendship day anymore in the north,the parks are always closed and u cant ride bikes.the west is fulled with noting but ------- africans and it be smelling like dog ----. but anyhow dont and i mean dont ever everrrrrrrrrrr move to parkchester!!!!!!!

No wonder Parkchester has a bad rep -- look at how you are expressing yourself! How can you write all this garbage?!! I guess you must participate in these "activities", since you describe them so well. I used to live there, but now I can say that one of the reasons I left was because of people like you - uneducated, nasty, prejudiced, racist, and simply degenerate. (You may want to look these words up in a dictionary, if you know what that is). Parkchester's demographics is largely made up of minorities - hard working people who sweat for their pay - I truly am offended by your comments, and by how you and the user responders have expressed yourselves, you are most likely a minority yourselves! I am Hispanic; and yes, we have problems in our culture as well-but we are extremely proud of our heritage culture, and I would never degrade my people the way you have. It's people like you that give neighborhoods like Parkchester, a bad name.

What this person is trying to say is that people who degrade their own are probably just as bad as the very ones they are condeming! It has nothing to do with race, or ethnicity. YOU ARE THE IGNORANT ONE! (probably uneducated also, DO YOU KNOW YOUR TRUE HISTORY??) I do, I am also Puerto Rican, and the true Puerto Ricans were the Taino -------, who were then mixed with the Spaniards when Spain colonized Puerto Rico. We also have ------- blood, when slaves were shipped to the island. I have traced my roots, and found that some of my ancestors were Taino Indian, and I AM EXTREMELY PROUD OF MY HERITAGE, MY CULTURE, AND OF MY PEOPLE!!! We show that pride every year in the month of June, for OUR PARADE!!!!! Yes, our parade, which is the only ethnic parade to go National! And Parkchester used to be a nice place to live, but it's because of people like the other posters who want to write negative and nasty things about what he/she sees, (do you even give a thought about how you can improve your community??????). I am involved in my child's school (PTA), in the community as a softball coach, and as a mentor for some troubled youths. WHAT DO YOU DO???????????????????????????????

Well, since we???re going straight into race here, let me get it out the way??? I???m White. Not just white, I work a 9-5 in Midtown, office attire (no sneakers, no jeans, ties are required), I???m not a big guy, and I have NO problems in Parkchester. Not just that, I live all the way in the North, while the subway???s in the south so it???s hardly next door and in the year I???ve been living here not once have I encountered threatening problems. Sure we all know the elements are around but so are security (visible officers) and a friendly respectful aura among the neighbors. Most music and styles publicly expressed around here are far from my own but so what? It doesn???t mean they???re stopping me from living my life. All this negative and uneducated criticism sound like nothing more then expressions of the critic???s miserable nature, not of the environment they???re describing. In all, I recommend Parkchester to people who value their properties and invest their efforts in improving it (unlike the useless people who do nothing but complain about the environment they themselves are responsible for creating).

I lived in Parkchester from 1994-1996 at 1515 Metropolitan to West Piladelphia. I remember Parkchester having a lot of nice Seniors and young people. I am not disputing your reality dude, but there is always good and bad everywhere. My experience was positive. I think you, "shyt", need to see a Psychiatrist.
