Brownstone Living From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 12/13/2007 Years at this apartment: 1995 - 2001   I was recentley directed to this site and read the reviews of 823 Carroll Street and find it quite amusing. I know the building quite well as I live on the block and are somewhat familiar with their owners. They have/are involved with alot of real estate and have been around for a while. They are known for giving a really good product but they are not the friendlest people. Having said that their rental units far exceed alot of the condos in the area and they take pains to keep it that way.Some tenants move in and treat the place like a college dorm and when the move out they don't want to know about it. When you rent a car they note the dings & you have to pay.These people don't need the nickels and dimes of ------ tenants. I'am not interested in hanging out with these people but they are great neighbors. They work hard on keeping up their buildings and that's good for everybody including the tenants.
