Rent is too high, every six month or less management will send letter to you that your rent has been increased and there is nothing you can do about it. You have to pay or move out. They dont wait till the end of your lease before increasing rent. I will advise you to consider other options. Not all that glitters is gold.

I also live in Starrett City. And while every thing that glitters isn't gold I searched high and low for a nice apartment with decent rent, and Starret city was the best that I came across. And while they do raise your rent often its still the most competitive to me. Two bedrooms, all utilities included, central air and heat, wood floor, track lighting.. For $1,000.00 a month I love it.

You should know that when a bunch of black people move in, EVERYBODY moves out. Now why is that? Can you tell me?

You sound like a racist begot, you need to move out since you hate it so much. Either move or shut up. As far as the projects being a block away and you referring to them as those people in previous blogs. Not every one who lives in the projects is welfare or section 8 recipients. There are many hard working individuals. Your not be than any of them if you think so move your a.. out to the Hamptons or better yet to Westchester.
