Choices limited in television and internet access are very limited. Cablevision has the franchise, and costs are skyrocketing. As a disabled person, the rent is section 8 subsidized. Also, i had to go through hell to get management to allow a service dog, and had to assert myself under the fair housing act and ADA.

cablevision has a monopoly over 80% of brooklyn and 100% of the bronx. Time Warner has the other 20% of Brooklyn and 100% of Manhattan. this is nothing new. what are you complaining about??

They have a no pet policy but people still have dogs. Also how long did you have to wait and what size apartment did you get?

I have a very small rescued puppy Maltese/Poodle mix - I'm wondering if I can bring her along. When the agent didn't state any rules about NOT owning pets, she did however show me where pet garbage should be stored. I applied for a 2 bedroom and was approved a 2 bedroom with a balcony. I had my initial interview June 2008, but it was my second time applying, Home visit June 8th - I was called to look at the apartment Feb. 10 - I move in March 2009 - I'd say 8 to 9 months waiting. Also, when you do get the call for an apartment be prepared to pay an exterminator fee. They want you to get an extermination certificate at your current apartment before you get your keys.

I moved into C7 on March 18th & I love it! Everyone is so nice - I have a few things to mention: I have to have something called a New Move In Inspection - I'm trying to call the management office I get no answer! I walked over to the office and the agent that handles the building was not in so I called on Friday, March 20th and again today leaving a message -- I waiting for the call back
