The rent is decent.. For a two bedroom apartment, all utilities included the rent $1,000.00 central air and heat are included. Where else are you going to get a deal like that in Brooklyn, NY' As far as Cablevision goes most of Brooklyn if not all parts can only get Cablevision and or DirectTV so I don't see why that is such a big deal unless you're not orignally from Brooklyn and don't know the workings of the borough. The grounds are immaculate. Security is wonderful. Of course some tenants are nasty and may have mice and roaches but if you keep your home clean you shouldn't have a problem keeping the pest out. And while parking may not be the best I always seem to find a spot. I have friends who grew up in this community and I have to say contrary to the other reviews I think that this property has improved tremendously.

You need your head examined! So what they have heat and central air condition. You probably just moved in, because 5-10 years ago, the place looked like a place all of its own. You talking about beauty. No dogs, two or four footed walking around and most of all it was safe. You look at the tangible and not the intangible - look it up.

I don't know how long you lived here, but when I first moved in many years ago, the air was so cold you needed down comforters. Good residents pay a high price for those decent rents that you mention. It is their peace and happiness. By the way you should check out the sex offender registry, last I checked they were three living in spring creek towers.

This is my take on everyone reviews. I hear most people talk about how bad it is and I hear others talk about how great it is. Everyone situation is different. For one, some sections of Spring Creek are quiet, clean, and have mature tenants. Other sections have too many noisy teens and nasty tenants. Most people that live in Sections A, B, or C, are the main ones who are complaining about how much they hate Spring Creek and want to leave. Others that live in Sections D to H are satisfied with their living conditions. It is the most affordable place to live in Brooklyn right now. As for those who complain about how high the rent is well like I said before it depends on your situation. Those who income falls in the income bracket pay the cheaper rent rate. Those who income is above the income bracket are paying market value for a one, two, or three bedroom apartment. So they are some who are paying 1200 to 1500 while others are paying 850 to 1000. It all depends on your situation. You need to make your own decision on whether or not you want to live in Spring Creek or not. As for drugs and crime, let's get real. No matter where you live there will always be crime. As for sex offender registry. There are sex offenders living in every single neighborhood. If want to live in pleasantville then you need to move off planet earth because there is no place that has no crime at all. However, crime is spring creek is not nearly as bad as crime in other areas of Brooklyn or surrounding boroughs. I think for the price it's worth it and hey if you don't like it then move. The rent is cheaper enough for you to save money to move to another apartment in another neighborhood. On a more personal tip, I think Spring Creek is a pretty decent neighborhood considering price and amenities. It's only negative is transportation because Spring Creek is in the middle of nowhere. But hey think of it this way, Queens residents do it everyday for years. So it cannot be that bad.

I was approved for 2 bedroom with terrace 12/08 for $1095-the Agent Ms. Dione, says I will get a call from someone else;I guess to give the move-in date. Does anyone have any idea how often 2 bedroom with a terrace are available? My current rent is going up and I won't be able to afford it.
