Unfortunate....

I lived in the Holling Place building for about six months, and opted to move into Rocco's new IS Lofts. It did have a bit to do with the issues in the building, but overall, for the price, it was well done.
The tenants are to blame for any issues that still exist there. When I was a tenant, I was one of the peple that made a concerted effort to start a Tenants Organization, we had several meetings, established some goals, involved the whole building, and what happened... the same people that gripe and complain never bothered to show up to the meetings and put their two cents in. It seems they think it is more effective to annonomously post scathing reviews on a website that actually get off their backside and do something about it.
So, next time anyone has something bad to say about Holling Place, just remember, it was either you, your neihbors or both that had the opportunity to become part of an organization that would allow all the tenants to have a voice together. Typical American attitudes, lets cry about it, but not do anyting to fix it. Thats why we pay $3.29 a gallon for gas but keep driving our SUV's.

Agree with the "unfortunate" poster to an extent, but you should not need to call town meetings because your heat and internet are out. That just does not make sense. If E Square Capital (UHRA or whatever they are calling themselves now) doesn't respond to tenants individually than why bother with Holling Place.

he never said the issues that they were meeting about had anything to do with the heat or the internet?!? Why don't you read the post your replying to, before replying with something completely unrelated. Oh, and why don't you spend some time reading the other reviews and you'll hopefully be able to figure out that heat is under the tenants control and the internet is FREE. Don't worry...take your time...I won't be holding my breath for you to figure it out...haha
