I am one of the first tenants in the building and have lived here happily for over 3 years. Holling Place is one of the best values for residency in downtown Buffalo. I find it hard to believe that there are so many issues with some of those who would not recommend Holling Place. First off, I think if you pay your bills on time and in full, you will not hear from management at all. If you cause damage to the building, expect to pay for it, this is not your college dorm. Every loft is equipped with high speed internet access, if you do not know how to hook it up, have someone who does know to and have them do it. There is no wireless access included in rental, these are set up by tenants for their use, not yours. You control the level of your heat, not the owners, so if you're cold, turn it up. Not to mention that the heat is much cheaper than it would be at most other apartments by a significant amount. Maintenance is done within 48 hours, no matter what the issue. The price is right, the location is fantastic, and the utilities are inexpensive. The only issue is parking, but you can use the money saved to purchase a spot at any one of the adjoining lots or take your chances on the street.
