Holling Place

Holling Place-not so bad From: magda847 Date posted: 4/23/2008 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2007   I lived at the Holling for 2 years and had no major problems. The office staff was always there and ready to help and issues were always dealt with within 24 hours. The walls are thin and the construction isn't top of the line but that is something you should be aware of before you sign a lease. I had no problem getting back my security deposit (it was mailed to my new address within the month) I even asked the managers to verify that I was a good tenant as my new landlord (in NYC area) took me to court because they refused to fix a water pump problem. I'm confident that at the Holling it wouldn't have taken 4 months to get this kind of issue fixed and we would have avoided the court trip. I read another person's review and agree, if you pay your rent on time they will be wonderful. Parking is an issue on it's own. My husband and I parked on the street and took our chances. Parking is also another thing that you should be aware of when signing the lease. It seems like many of the complaints are issues that they renters overlooked somehow and need someone to blame.
