Not a bad place

My husband and I moved in to Kensington Village as newlyweds. We had two nice-sized bedrooms and a large living room (the bedrooms were larger than the bedrooms in our current house!)
The walls are thin, but we were lucky to have (mostly) considerate neighbors who were not too noisy. I have stayed in hotels where you could hear more from the rooms next door.
The bathroom and kitchen were awfully small -- the kitchen was big enough for *at most* two or three people at one time, and the toilet was positioned so that if someone opened the bathroom door, they would hit anyone on the toilet in the knees (we solved this by keeping the door open).
Maintenance was generally prompt, though in some instances we did have to call the office twice or three times to remind them.
My husband and I miss our low heating bills in the winter; the heat allowance in the Village section really helped with the gas bills!
Based on the experience my husband and I had, I would recommend Kensington Village to college students, recent graduates, newlyweds, and the like. It was a very good place to start out (at least when we lived there). bYr9ljUwtCbMRXE8dRDC
