Memories

Years at this apartment: 1982 - 1987
I lived in Kenville for almost five years. In that time, I grew to appreciate the finer things in life such as the constant draft from the windows during winter (plastic covering were useless and unattractive to say the least), the dark and dank common area, the ninja-like plowing where the grounds looked like Hiroshima after the bomb when the snow melted, the unsecured basement with the constant smell of sewage from the cesspool-like sump pump, the paper thin walls where one could hear babies being conceived even if you were in your living room... I could go on, but I'm getting emotional. I left Kenville after my car was broken into in the very secured garage. To my surprise, almost twenty years later, I visited a friend and discovered that nothing changed! The windows were still the same, the basements were worse than ever and I could hear a clear conversation occurring in the apartment across the hall. Now that I am living in luxury on the west side, I miss those charming little things that made Kenville unique. Would I recommend this place...hell no!!!!!
