Where to begin...my biggest complaint with this place has been the centipede problem. GROSS. We have found centipedes all over our apartment the entire year we have lived there (still a tenant for another month, unfortunately) but the landlord did not seem to care. We even caught one to show them how disgusting they were but they did not fix the problem and we couldn't afford to do it on our own. Parking is horrible if you have more than one car for the garage. Street parking is almost never available unless you want to walk a half mile (and it's not the safest area) and you have to switch parking on certain days. If you don't move your car within like an hour of the time to switch it you WILL get a ticket! Also, my locked car got broken into on this street. You cannot control the heat in your own apartment. In the winter, our downstairs would be freezing cold (literally we were wearing layers of clothes and using blankets) only to be uncomfortably hot upstairs. It was so annoying. The windows (like everything else about this place) are old and crappy and both our kitchen and bathroom windows wouldn't even stay open on their own. One day we woke up to 2-3 feet of water in our garage because a pipe had burst. To really top off our year with Tudor Gardens, they mysteriously LOST my letter stating we would be leaving when our lease ended although they somehow received the check I mailed it with, so now they are trying to screw us into paying for an extra month. Do yourself a favor and rent from someone reliable. This place has been such an overpriced headache and I can't wait to get myself and my stuff out of their centipede infested building!
